Meet Kazana and Ajabu

These two adorable otters were born at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in November 3, 2006.

The pups, (yes, that's what baby otters are called) named Kazana (Swahili for “to busy oneself”) and Ajabu (“surprise”) are not Neema (mom) and Denny’s (dad) first litter. But it's the first time Neema has delivered two pups in the same litter and they are also her first daughters. Go Neema! The parents have raised three other pups together since 2002—all single male pups, including Kipenzi, an adult male whom visitors will also meet when Wild About Otters opens on March 31, 2007 at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

browsing through from the Finding Water list and reading down your blogs found these two cuties! What baby dolls! I live close to Solomons Island, MD, and the Marine Museum there has two grown otters I love to watch - but I've never seen babies!
